Anna Lynn Harms
Please meet Anna Lynn Harms! Anna is currently studying Economics at Samford University and joined the ELI team as an intern in August 2024. She’s excited to continue her journey with ELI over the next three years, diving deeper into the work of community development and supporting the families and individuals ELI serves.
Anna is inspired daily by the authenticity and grace she’s encountered at ELI. She loves seeing how the organization’s initiatives—like housing programs and empowerment strategies—create a meaningful impact. She especially enjoys hearing clients’ stories and being part of such life-changing work.
Family is a huge part of Anna’s life. She has two incredible parents and an older brother who she considers one of her best friends. Together, they share a love for adventure and travel—her favorite passport stamp is from Switzerland, where she hiked the Alps and explored mountain towns with her family this past summer.
Anna’s a night owl at heart, with a knack for late-night ice cream runs and a love for coffee (as long as there’s plenty of cream and sugar—her go-to is a decaf vanilla iced latte). When she was five, she dreamed of becoming a dolphin trainer and still lights up every time she sees dolphins.
Fun fact: If Anna could have a superpower, she’d choose super speed to dash across the globe in minutes—or maybe even run on water!
