ELI Thrive Expands to Serve More Families with New Location in Bessemer

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our second location, ELI Thrive-Bessemer, in partnership with Serving You Ministries @ The Grace Place. Located at 1630 Powder Plant Road, Bessemer, AL 35022, the new site will serve as a hub for ELI Thrive’s comprehensive programs, focusing on housing, employment, financial literacy, and healthy relationships. ELI Thrive- Bessemer is open for coaching Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

This expansion is an answer to prayer and a response to the growing needs of families in another area of Birmingham. We couldn’t have done this without the incredible support of our donors and community. Your generosity has paved the way for us to serve even more families in their journey from crisis to thriving.

Now Serving: Pratt City and Titusville Residents

Through partnership with Navigate Affordable Housing Partners, we are thrilled to be offering family-centered coaching to all families in the St. Charles Villas Apartments and others in the Pratt City neighborhood, as well as surrounding Titusville neighbors.

Keep an eye on our East Lake location… we are growing! The office is undergoing a renovation to move our administrative offices next door and add an additional classroom/meeting space. We anticipate this space being opened by the fall of 2026!

Exciting News: Our Vision for ELI’s Future!

At our Cheers to 15 Years event, we unveiled an architectural rendering of our dream for a new central space tailored to better serve families across the city. This vision represents the next chapter for ELI Thrive, as we strive to expand our impact and deepen our roots in the community.

While we don’t have the location or funding finalized yet, we are moving forward in faith and working with partners to bring this vision to life. Whether it’s building from the ground up or retrofitting an existing space, this new home will be a beacon of hope for families seeking stability and empowerment.
