Dory Williams
Please meet Dory Williams! Dory earned her bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Sciences and went on to complete her master's in Social Work at Samford University in 2026. She is a licensed social worker in the state of Alabama and brings both the credentials and the heart to prove it.
Originally from Rome, Georgia, Dory first joined ELI Thrive as an intern in August 2025 before being hired as a coach in the summer of 2026. She has a genuine passion for walking alongside families and is committed to supporting communities through compassionate, empowering care.
During her time at ELI, Dory has loved being surrounded by people who serve others so well. She describes ELI Thrive as a welcoming, encouraging community and feels grateful to be part of the work happening here.
Outside of work, Dory enjoys playing pickleball, spending time outdoors, and being with friends. And in case you’re wondering about childhood dreams, when she was five, she was absolutely convinced she would grow up to be an alligator hunter!
Dory is excited to see how ELI Thrive continues to grow and impact families, and she feels truly blessed to be part of the journey.
