Jamie Chappell-Executive Assistant
Jamie joined the ELI Thrive team less than a month ago, bringing nearly 12 years of experience from the Missions and Pastoral Care Office at First Baptist Church Trussville. She’s excited to bring her passion for supporting others to her role at ELI, where she feels God has uniquely prepared her for this season of growth and expansion.
Jamie and her husband, Mark, met during their senior year at Hewitt Trussville High School, though they didn’t start dating until college at Auburn. They’ve been married for 31 years and share three adult children—Alex, Abby (Mason), and Andy (Claire)—and two grandchildren, Saylor and Asher. A coffee enthusiast, Jamie starts every day with a cup in hand and balances her love for family with hobbies like running two antique booths at local malls. She’s also a devoted Braves fan, with the thrill of attending recent World Series games at Truist Park among her favorite memories. This summer, she’s looking forward to an exciting new adventure: her first passport stamp on a trip to England and Italy!
Reflecting on her work at ELI, Jamie shares, "I love seeing lives transformed as our clients work towards independence. The journey they take with their coaches is like nothing I’ve ever witnessed, and it's an honor to have a tiny support role in that!"
