One of our partners, Christ Church, has an exciting and unique opportunity to partner with In His Wakes Ministry to provide "A Day To Remember" for some of the youth in the East Lake Area. The event will take place on Tuesday, June 14, at Smith Lake.

From start to finish, the purpose of "A Day to Remember" is to share the amazing love of Christ through hands-on water sports activities. The personal interaction with the staff, the amazing hospitality of volunteers, encouraging words shared throughout the day, and the opportunity of new experiences, combine to make "A Day to Remember" one that allows participants to grab hold of the truth: their lives have purpose and there is hope no matter how bleak their circumstances! While there is no charge to the participants, it costs about $100 per child. If you would be willing to partner with Christ Church by sponsoring one or more children, you can make checks payable to In His Wakes and mark it "A Day To Remember."

Other ways you can help:

• cooking and serving lunch for the event

• providing a pan(s) of brownies

• providing watermelon for snack time
