We are excited to introduce you to STRIVE Birmingham, an organization dedicated to helping individuals facing societal barriers to employment access the training and support needed to build life-changing careers. STRIVE's mission is to provide comprehensive professional training, intensive personal support, and self-empowerment for those who face societal barriers to advancement.

Upcoming Cohorts:
Cohort 4: Sterile Processing Pathway (Pilot Program)
Description: A Sterile Processing Technician prepares, sterilizes, and installs laboratory or healthcare equipment for surgeries, working behind the scenes without direct patient contact.
Program Dates: Monday, August 19 - Friday, December 13
Class Hours: 6 PM - 9 PM (Monday-Thursday), with clinicals and JumpStart week requiring different hours.
Clinical Rotations: 3 weeks, 7 AM - 5 PM (Monday-Friday)
Requirements: Participants must take and pass the TABE test.
Registration Deadline: August 5
Participant Limit: 15
Cohort 5: Administrative Medical Assistant Pathway
Description: An Administrative Medical Assistant performs front-office duties and helps manage the daily workflow of a medical facility, working directly with patients.
Program Dates: Monday, September 23 - Friday, December 13
Class Hours: 9 AM - 4 PM (Monday-Thursday)
Events: New Cohort Social on September 9 and Orientation on September 16
Requirements: No TABE test required.
Registration Deadline: August 30
Participant Limit: 25
